After the JCP reconsideration process, the J2SE / J2EE Standards Executive Committee voted again for JSR-220 (JDO 2.0) technical specifications. Unlike public pleasure for publication on January 19, this vote has been successfully passed. After the announcement of the publication voting results on January 19, the JDO community (many people outside the community) shook, requiring reconsideration voting, and informing the members of the committee. The JDO Expert Group also clarified the application of JDO 2.0 and EJB 3.0 Entity Beans for additional comments against votes, and these two factors have prompted more observations. JDO continues to exist, how to feel that Sun takes a few people voted. Take a look at IBM, JBoss, Oracle opposition. I don't understand Sun, since EJB3 pull, why still retain JDO. Why does EJB cannot fully integrate heavyweight and lightweight?
