A laboratory study funded by EU has shown that radio waves emitted by mobile phones will damage body cells and destroy deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in laboratory environments.
This research by the EU has funded most funds, named "reflected" (Reflex) showed that the use of mobile phones to have a harm to the health of the human body outside the laboratory.
Scientists pointed out that the mobile phone will endanger human body health according to the results of the laboratory. However, the researchers conducted at least hundreds of experimental results in multiple laboratories. In particular, mobile radiation causes damage to DNA.
This research was conducted in 7 European countries and was responsible by 12 organizations. German Research Organization Verum is responsible for coordinating this study.
Studies use specific absorption rates (SAR) levels of 0.3 volts to 2 volts per kilogram of radio waves from 0.5 volts to 1 volts per kilogram of radio waves. SAR is used to calculate the ratio of the body tissue to absorb radio energy. The International Non-Free Radiation Protection Committee recommends that the upper limit of SAR should be 2 volts per kilogram.
When the cells exposed to mobile phone electromagnetic fields, DNA has significantly rising, and partial damage is not repaired by cells.
Adel Chemism, which is responsible for research, said: "The next generation of cells will still be damaged." This means of lesion cells as divided, while cell mutation is considered to be carcinogenic. In addition, the study also shows that the radius causes other damage to the cell.
Since the study is only carried out in the laboratory, the researcher claims that this cannot prove that the mobile phone is healthy, but it is recommended to further affect human and animals.
Adel Chemical Recommendation Don't use your phone when you have a fixed-line call, and try to use a free-handed view. He said: "We don't want to make panic, but it is best to take precautions."
