What is Addon Domains (binding domain named directory)?
Addon Domains point to the subdirectories you have existing here. They allow you to point additional domain names to subdirectory on your space. This way you can purchase a number of different sites in us.
Ready to work:
You must have an international domain name and can access the control panel of this international domain name. In the Domain Name Control Panel, change the domain name DNS to the DNS address in your account information. (After modifying DNS, your domain name is on our DNS server. The work of resolution of the domain name is made by our DNS server. All settings in the Domain Name Control Panel will no longer take effect.) (Modify the domain name) DNS Please contact your domain name service provider)
Add a directory you want to bind to public_html, such as mysite2. (The directory name can only be a combination of English letters and numbers and starting with letters).
Steps:
OK, now add Addon Domains now
First log in to the CPANEL control panel.
The login address of the CPANel is:
http: // YourDomain / CPANEL / (please replace yourDomain into your domain)
After successfully logging in, select Addon Domains (ADDON DOMAINS Maintenance).
Enter the domain name you want to bind (do not add a WWW prefix) next to the NEW DOMAIN Name next to New Domain Name;
In UserName / Directory / Subdomain Name: Enter the subdirectory you want to bind (such as mysite2) next to the input box next to.
Enter the password you want to set the account for this bound domain name next to the pass box next to the Password. (It is recommended that the password is set to a random complex password, and the space is used to maintain space using the main FTP account).
Then click Addon Domain! (Add Domain Name) button.
If the prompt information is successful, your domain name is bound to the subdirectory set under the root directory.
Now you can use the new domain name to access your sub-directory.
