Distributed Queue Double Bus DQDB is the Data Link Layer Communication Protocol defined by the IEEE 802.6 Committee, mainly to the metropolitan area network MANS. DQDB is designed to be used for data, speech, and video transmission, which is based on cell switching Cell Switching technology (similar to ATM).
