What is a portal? Oracle Application Server Portal is a component of the Oracle Application Server, which is used for the development, deployment, management, and configuration of an enterprise-class portal. Oracleas Portal combines a portal build frame with self-service publishing characteristics, which enables you to create, publish, and manage information in the portal. Using portals can publish information from databases or other sources, you can collect information from internal customers and external customers and provide them with information, as well as manage them to use.

A portal consists of a set of pages that accommodate many different types of content from different sources, all of which are only rendered from one location (ie, portal). Oracleas Portal comes with basic portal structure components including page groups, pages, tabs, areas, portlets, and projects. The page can be published and displayed using the page. Navigate When you log in to Oracleas Portal for the first time, you may notice many different navigation elements (typically buttons, links, and tabs). Depending on your company's configuration, your portal home page may contain a shortcut toolbar with links and buttons (will take you to the high-end ribs or other portals) of the portal. You can see the buttons, links, and tabs depend on which buttons, links, and tabs you have in your company's page designers, and your permissions you have on this page. The default navigation link is based on your access, you can see the following links and combinations of those links to your company's page designers: "Edit" link is the entry of editing mode; in editing modules, you can change the page properties and Style, define user permissions, and add subpages. The Creator link is the starting point for creating a portal. Oracleas Portal builder Click the Create Ager link to view the Portal creator page. In addition to any custom tab that the portal administrator may join, your Portal creator page view may also include some default tabs. Usually only those who build portals and people who have the right to see them can see these default tabs.
