Method for running FRANKIE Linux LiveCD from hard drive
1. All contents above the disc are copied to a FAT32 partition [such as: D: / frankie, the file name must be less than 8 letters English or numbers];
2. Plug the NTOSLOADER folder in the DOS folder on the disc to c: (is a FAT32 or NTFS format), and the name is MSDOS;
3. In the command line in Win2000 or WinXP, enter C: / MSDOS, run install_vfloppy.bat;
4. Change C: /Boot.ini, join a line: c: /msdos/vloader.bin= "Microsoft DOS 7.1 Professional"
5. Copy the CD copy directory (is the previous DOS directory in the DOS directory in the DOS directory in the previous D: / FRANKIE) to the last directory (ie D: / FRANKIE), modify the config file,
6. Restart the system, select Start Virtual Microsoft DOS 7.1 Professional, then enter the disc copy directory (that is, the previous D: / FRANKIE), running Linux.bat. Note: MS-DOS cannot identify NTFS partitions, first identify the drive letter in the partition of the CD copy directory under MS-DOS. The above methods are equally applicable to SLAX, GOBLINX, and FANX.
