Reprinted from http://www.cnblogs.com/rickie This series mainly records the procedure when customizing the SPS page or some of these attempts, and it is inevitable that there is an error or needs to be improved. Thank you. Although the SPS customization is very strong, it is still more troublesome or difficult to actually operate. Compared to custom SPS pages, I prefer to write or develop Web Parts, and the page is unforgettable - not my job responsibilities.
OK, starting the SPS home page (not the home page of the Sites site level) DEFAULT.ASPX custom process. I use Microsoft FrontPage 2003 to customize the page, the following process description is relatively simple.
1. Open the SPS Web Site first via FrontPage. Reminder, Before modifying the Default.aspx page, it is recommended to back up this page first, avoiding the previous state when modifying the process error problem, saving the batch.
2. First prepare to modify the default navigation bar on the left:
(1) Modify the leftmost watermark text: SharePoint Portal Server, it is easy to complete with FP.
Style = 'width: 138.75pt; height: 17.25pt; rotation: -90' FillColor = "# CBDBF8" stroked = "f"> v: shape> (2) Delete the default navigation bar on the left (3) Then insert a table table, 2 lines 1 column (depending on the situation), the main purpose is to define two new Left Zone. Adding new Web Parts can be added to FP: Insert / Database / Web Part ..., in the list of Web parts on the right, click on the bottom "New Web Parts Area" 2 new web part areas are added to the two table Cells, as for Web Part, can be operated by the editing page provided by the SPS, or can be operated by FP. The purpose of adding 2 Web parts is to add different Title to different web part regions, otherwise you can add a number of web parts to a Web Parts area. The purpose of adding Table is to separate different web parts areas, otherwise, when the SPS page edits, the above Web Parts occupy the entire left page, and cannot see the following web part area. 3. You can easily customize the default navigation bar to the web part area and the Web Parts provided by the page editing feature provided by the SPS.
