Introduction to Smartphone
Standard Smartphone includes a wide range of Microsoft software that enables users to communicate via voice, text, and Internet applications. The following is an overview of some of the features of SmartPhone:
l User experience
Includes multilingual support, appearance, voice command, custom user experience, and network selection: GSM, GPRS, SMS, and PPTP.
l Pocket Outlook
Easy to query the contract, schedule, e-mail, plan task and voice note. The hyperlinks can be played by simple click on the e-mail, contracts and web pages. Have a unified standard inbox: IMAP4, POP3, SMS.
l Microsoft ActiveSync®
This supports the server and desktop system for synchronization, as well as the desktop system forwarding (PASSTHROUGH).
l Pocket Internet Explorer
By supporting the relevant Internet and wireless standards, security for access networks is provided. In fact, wireless telephone communications and data reception are integrated in Smartphone, enabling users to wireless access Internet through any application. Pocket Internet Explorer supports HTML 3.2, WAP1.2.1, Chtml, XML, XSL, JScript® 1.1, WMLScript, Activescript, ActiveX® Control, SSL, WTLS, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, and XBM.
l MSN® Messenger
It is included therein.
l Windows Media® Player
Can play the following format: WMA, MP3, and MPEG4. Digital licensing management is also included.
Smartphone has advanced image colors, a screen that is small enough to mobile phone; but it is enough to browse E-mail, pictures, video games, and websites. Smartphone also has the ability to play music.

The figure below shows the recommended standard Smartphone layout and hardware operation keys. This layout is based on internal design research on the optimization of availability.

The layout of each operation key is highly recommended: soft key, home key, back key, and a navigation board with five directions. All control keys are indispensable, but OEM can change the layout at will. For example, the five arrow keys must exist, but OEM can design it to five separate keys or use navigation boards in recommendations. Application designers should not assume the absolute position of the control key on the device. The volume button, the recording key, and the power button are only used for illustration.
