Rational License Server installation
Rational provides a license server to implement unified management and distribution of license. The client authorizes it from the server activity.
Installation Environment:
License Server: Chinese Windows2003
Client: WindowsXP
1 server installation
First use the unified installation package in Rational installation License Server, you can also use the WSBUFLEXLMSERVER.EXE under the Setup directory directly to install.
After installation, there is a service in the system service:

This is its management program.
Copy flexlm.cpl in system32 directory.
Take the license file into the common subdirectory in the RATION installation directory.
Run the Control Silver Manager, in the Setup panel, specify the LAGRD and License file locations.
To the Control Panel, use Start to start Server, then use Status to view its status.
If the red part of the display shows that the server is successfully launched.
Note: The front Thinking is defined in the license file, you can find the Server in this file, and then modify its content.
2. Client configuration
Run the client License Key Administrator,
Select the Client / Server Configuration menu in the Setting menu to enter the configuration interface
Select User License Server, use add server: Specify Server Name as the machine name or IP of the host where the License Server server is located, using Show licensees to view the server's license case. Click OK to be active.
To this: The client can use Rational software.
