Award BIOS
1 Short: The system starts normally. Congratulations, your machine has no problem.
2 Short: Regular error, please enter CMOS Setup, reset the incorrect option.
1 length 1 short: RAM or motherboard error. Try a memory, if it is still not, then replace the motherboard.
1 length 2 Short: monitor or display card error.
1 length 3 short: keyboard controller error. Check the motherboard.
1 long 9 short: motherboard Flash Ram or EPROM error, BIOS is damaged. Change the block Flash Ram to try.
Constantly no sound (long): The memory bar is not inserted or damaged. Reversion of the memory module, if it is still not, only replacement of memory.
Keep no sound: power, the display is not connected to the display card. Check all the plugs.
Repeat short noise: There is a problem with the power supply.
No sound No display: The power is problematic.
Ami BIOS
1 Short: memory refresh failed. Replace the memory module.
2 Short: memory ECC is more effective. Setting the memory of the ECC check in CMOS Setup to disabled to solve, but the most fundamental solution is still replaced by memory.
3 Short: System Basic Memory (1st 64KB) check failed. Change memory.
4 Short: The system clock is wrong.
5 Short: Central Processor (CPU) error.
6 Short: Keyboard controller error.
7 Short: System real mode error, cannot switch to protection mode.
8 Short: Show memory errors. There is a problem with the memory, replace the graphics card.
9 short: ROM BIOS test and error.
1 length 3 short: memory error. Memory is damaged, replaced.
1 length 8 short: Show test errors. The display data line is not plugged or the display card is not pulled.
These can only be roughly judged that the fault is, and it is specifically available to test with a dedicated slot card.
