A, replace the ink cartridge

Second: The ink lamp does not flash, but the print quality decreases (there is a color ink in the color ink cartridge), and the cleaning work cannot be completed. When you want to replace the cartridge, many people may be forced to power out, so that the printer will inevitably cause damage, here to introduce another method: After boot, press "Feed" button for 5 seconds, print heads to replace the ink cartridge Location, then steps are the same as the above.
B. All the lights flash after booting
Due to the mechanical failure (excessive printhead is too large), the printhead is blocked, causing the printhead impact mechanical frame to make the print head positioning system error, and paper jam, so that the printer cannot reset it normally, and then all the indicators flake.
The first: simultaneously press "paper feed", "cleaning" button, then "paper feed" light flashes, then release the "Cleaning" button until all the lights are flashing, then the printer is normal. This approach has 99% repair rate, which is very simple, but Epson has never disclosed.
The second: If the above method is not, the problem may be on the motherboard, first take the bottom cover, remove the motherboard (remove the nail from the back and next to the nail), do not unplug the link on the motherboard, remove the lithium battery on the motherboard (3V) After the machine, the problem is solved. Because this battery is saved for the printer, printer information.
Third type: This situation is generally not produced. But in my repair of many EPSON printers, I have encountered several cases. There is a series of serial EPROM (93c46) chips on the motherboard, because this chip is to remember the printhead information for the printer, replace this chip has a considerable difficulty: first find a model of the printer, remove This chip (93c46), buy a chip (93C46, about 5.00 yuan), copy the procedure in the removed chip to the newly purchased chip, and solve the problem.
C, test the quality of the printhead
The first one: the method software test introduced by the EPSON manual.
