AutoCAD provides a good secondary development environment, and users can very convenient for the application development system. In many cases, systems for specific applications require a certain terminal to be installed in the LAN, which gives a certain problem to the system upgrade and maintenance. For executable programs, you can use an automatic upgrade mechanism similar to Smart Client, however, for ARX, it is just a dynamic connection library, often not enough permissions to update itself. Here, we can put the ARX and related menu files on the server and write the corresponding acad.lsp and configure relevant Profile in the installer. Thus, when the user starts the system, the ARX program is automatically loaded from the server. When the system needs to upgrade maintenance, you can also simply update the server-side ARX and LSP files.
