I see the CSS enhancements in Internet Explorer 6

Today, I read the CSS enhancements in the Internet Explorer 6 on MSDN. I feel that Microsoft has made a big effort for the Web standard. According to the "Designing" Web Standards, Internet Explorer 6 is finally a comparative modern browser.

Compared to its previous versions, it is unquestionable, it is indeed a lot of improvements, and it supports W3C standards better. For example, IE 6 can support the Web standard by labeling "Switching Conversion" (for DOCTYPE Switch, refer to the article mentioned above) and supports the Web standard. This will prevent the original IE 5 in the inexposed Box Modal bug. However, this has caused some inconvenient to use CSS Box Modal Hack.

It turns out that I use! Important to hide Height & Width, but because IE 6 can support Web Standard, it has caused it to get the result of the error. (Sorry, IE 6 still does not support! Important). So, I used back Hack in the CSS Discuss mentioned.

Here, the problem of browser bug is involved. In fact, I am not very familiar with myself, waiting for free writing.

Although IE 6 claims to be enhanced to CSS, but also say that the CSS 1 standard is completely supported, but in fact, don't believe it, the following completely using the CSS 1 classic test page shows IE 6 to CSS 1 standard support perfect. http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/complexspiral/glassy.html

The above page mainly reflects that IE has problems with the standard, and the fixed of the Background-Attachment property is to start calculation from View Point (generally the top left corner of the entire page), and IE understands the upper left corner of the container. It may be more likely to understand this, isn't it? Just as the Box Modal that just said, perhaps MS's view is more readily understood (in fact, because IE is full of poison, I have always seen Box Modal) before using Firefox). However, the standard is the standard, and everyone needs to be implemented. No one wants to return to the browser million, the browser manufacturer is each polite, the designer is tired of running. Microsoft should also understand one of the members of W3C. IE 6 is a good sign. I hope the next browser will strengthen support for standards.
