welcome! If you have a PC that supports 64-bit, you can now select the trial software for the Windows XP Professional X64 Edition through CD or download. Please read the contents of the different options for getting the pre-release software, and then use the link to the right to register to order the CD kit or download the product file. Please note that in either case, the pre-issuance software has time limit and will expire after 360 days.
The design of Windows XP Professional X64 Edition is to meet the most demanding requirements of technical workstation users in mechanical design and analysis, digital content creation, and scientific computing and high-performance computing applications.
System Requirements:
• Supported processors: AMD Athlon 64, AMD Opteron, Intel Xeon, support Intel EM64T, support Intel EM64T Intel Pentium 4 • 256MB memory • 1.5GB available Hard Disk Space • Super VGA (800x600) or higher resolution video card • CD-ROM or DVD drive • Keyboard and Microsoft mouse or compatible pointer devices: Windows XP Professional x64 Edition cannot be successfully installed on the 64-bit system based on Intel Itanium.

This CD is currently only English version. Localized versions may occur in other countries in the future.
Note: Pay shipments and handling fees. Order from the United States may need to pay import tax, and the goods will be paid after arriving in your country. When you order this site, you are considered to be the importer to file, and you must comply with all laws and regulations in the country where the goods are received.

If you choose to register for software download, please note that you will not receive the product CD. The downloadable product software is only the English version.
When the product software is registered, Microsoft will send you an email, which contains the download instructions.
After completing the download registration process, you will receive an e-mail that contains links to the download page. On the download page, you will see a link to the installation file and product key to install the software. This file will be an ISO format and must be burned to the CD to install the software on your computer.
Download files are large (about 450 MB), so downloading may require a considerable time to complete. Microsoft recommends trying to download only by broadband, ADSL, or other high-speed Internet access.

This plan provides a preview of the next generation of Windows XP Professional X64 Edition opportunities, while this product is still under development. This product is for testing and evaluation purposes only. It should not be used for production purposes, so it should not be placed in a production environment.

Microsoft will provide formal charging support when issuing the final version of Windows XP Professional X64 Edition.

Upgrade to a higher version
As a subscriber of the Windows XP Professional X64 Edition Customer Preview (CPP), you may have a qualification to upgrade to future Windows XP Professional x64 Edition pre-release (when they are available). When issuing future code, it is notified that the registered CPP participant that is licensed in the registration process is notified. With this opportunity, you can start to assess Windows XP Professional X64 Edition for your unique business, and make sure your application is ready for the product's business issuance.
