The new version finally came out. Http://www.postgreSQL.org/docs/whatsnew has added a lot of new features. But whether it can be independent as a service running on WIN is not my most concerned. But you can pull Change Column Types. Previous practice can only first Drop Column, then add column. ^ _ ^
