Here's this "discussion rules", attached to the classroom of Si Denson Primary School in Redmont City. Children reading in this classroom, no more than 10 years old:
1. My criticism is aimed at people's ideas, not for people. 2. My purpose is to get the best and most likely results, not to win discussions. 3. I encourage each classmate to participate in discussions and learn through participation. 4. I am listening to everyone's ideas, even if I don't agree. 5. If someone has not clearly expressed his idea, I will ask him to re-narrow and strive to understand him. 6. I will listen to each point before making judgment. 7. If there is evidence that I should change my thoughts, then I will change.
