Yumi.com January 25 message Google will use existing search techniques to find TV playback programs and images, and continue to extend the search range to the network.

Google plans to introduce new video search technologies in the United States local time on Tuesday, in order to be launched in the past. This search technology is mainly to lock the content by scanning the closed title text provided by many programs.

Google's index starts storage of information from last month, including ABC, PBS, Fox News, and C-span program.

Jonathan Rosenberg, Vice President of Google, said: "We think TV is an important part of people's lives, so we hope to add all TV programs to the index."

This TV product indicates the latest try to provide search services outside the Internet.

Forrester's Search Engine Analyst Charlene Li believes that Google's recent innovation move made many people disappointing, because these innovations have not combined people directly with broadband services.

Five video images, profiles, and playback and replay time will be listed on Google's index. If the user provides postal coding, local program information can be obtained.

Google's competitors Yahoo also launched the same service. If Google and Yahoo's service can attract users, the TV show producer will provide more detailed program content online. Analysts believe that video search will be welcomed by users in long-term appearance. (Finish)
