OSI Transport Layer ISO-TP mainly manages end-to-to-end control and error checking to ensure a complete data transfer process. It completes the mapping process from the transmission address to the network address, applied multiple technologies Multiplexing and split technology splitting in the transport connection, and it also supports functions such as sort, stream control, error monitoring and recovery.

At present, ISO-TP includes five transport layer protocols, from the transport layer protocol class 0 to the transport layer protocol class 4 (TP0, TP1, TP2, TP3, and TP4). The agreement is gradually complex by 0 to 4. TP0-3 is only suitable for connection communication, before any data transmission, before any data transmission, the TP4 can be used to either connect communication or connection communication.

Transfer Protocol Class 0 (TP0) implements segmentation and reassembly functions. The TP0 first identifies the minimum value of the maximum protocol data unit PDU supported by the underlying network, and segments the packet according to this, and then the packet field is reorganized again at the receiver.
