Introduction to MIME
MIME (MULTIPURPOSE Internet Mail Extensions), generally translated "multi-purpose network mail expansion protocol". As the name suggests, it can transmit multimedia files to add a variety of format files in an email. Now it has evolved into a general method for specifying file types (any form of Internet: e-mail, usnet news, and web). When you use the CGI program, you may have been in contact with the MIME type, where there is a row called the statement of Content-Type, which is used to indicate that the MIME type file (such as Text / HTML or Text / Plain) is used.
