This week, I didn't do anything, I have been discussed.
Debian
installation.
hard disk
Install Debian not more than two methods,
One is to enter pure DOS, will you
Installing Debian's ISO file placed on the root directory of the FAT32 partition. Put VMLinuz and Initrd.gz and LoadLin.exe, these three files are placed in the same directory, then establish batch file autoboot.bat
Document content is loadlin vmlinuz initrd = init.gz ramdisk_size = 128000 devfs = mount, DALL
Use this method
Installation, the advantage is that as long as you can enter DOS. Use Win98, or some super Chinese boot disk, you can enter DOS
installed. Then enter the interface below start
installation.
Note that VMLinuz and Initrd must be found, and cannot be extracted directly from Netinist.iso files in SARGE. in case
Install Hiweed
Debian cannot extract from the ISO file, I think VMLinuz and initrd.gz provided on the Hiweed website are really good.
Another method is to use GRUB's functionality. Call the kernel command to boot.
First prepare VMLinuz and Initrd.gz
Installing ISO, three files are placed in the root directory of the partition of FAT32.
If there is no GRUB, you can download a Grub for DOS.
Install it.
After restart, enter GRUB,
> kernel (HD0, 0) / VMLinuz root = / dev / ramdisk_size = 128000 devfs = mount, DALL
> Initrd (HD0, 0) / Initrd.gz
> boot
Among them, (HD0, 0) HD0 means your first hard disk, if there are two hard drives, and the three files above are in the second hard disk, then you will change it to hd1. The next 0 means you The order of the FAT32 partition is located.
I summed up, 0 means that your C: 2 represents your extension partition, expands the partition in the partition, starting downwards from 4.
For example, your D: is 4, E: is 5, f: is 6. This is GRUB's approach to the hard disk, not Linux to the hard disk.
Linux is similar to the hard disk, and GRUB is almost, that is, see other articles at 1.
This is my approach and idea, I tried, I think I use GRUB.
Installing batch than DOS
Machine is better.
That is, the second method is relatively reliable. If you have a good suggestion, please reply to me, I am a newcomer of Linux, I hope everyone criticates!
