1. First download the software
Vfloppy1.5 (ftp://ei.xjtu.edu.cn/incoming/ launcher / after system halted .... / vfloppy.rar)
WinImage6 (ftp://202.112.85.101/pub2/windows/disk_tools/iso production /Winimage v6.10.6100.rar),
Grub for dos 2.0 (Home: http://newdos.yginfo.net/grubdos.htm)
Unzip separately, then install WinImage.
2. Run WinImage, open the bootdisk.img file in the vfloppy decompression directory, menu image-> chanage format-> 2.88MB
3. Drag the GRUB's unzipped directory into WinImage. After confirmation, select the Save AS of the File menu to save the floppy image as a * .vfd file, here I have GRUB.VFD
4. Run vfloppy, select the grub.vfd file that has just been saved in the "Image File" column; fill in the name of the virtual floppy disk in the Windows boot menu in "Display Text"; "Profile" defaults to "C: / boot. INI, do not change; "save path" defaults to "c: / boot" is not changed. Press "Apply" to save the action.
5. Copy the boot subdirectory in the GRUB unzip directory to C: / under, because a boot directory has been established when saving the image file with VFLoppy, here confirming the overwriting.
6. Modify the C: /Boot /grub/Menu.lst file according to the system installed (equivalent to the grub.conf file after linux), as for how to modify, there are many articles on the Internet, this is not said
Restart the system, select from the virtual floppy disk, the CD grub enters the directory of GRUB in the floppy disk, execute grub.exe to start GRUB, if you have previously edited the Menu.lst file, you can choose the corresponding startup item.
