Entering and exit system TurboLinux is a multi-user operating system, users should use the system, first must log in to the system, after using the system, you must exit the system. This chapter mainly discusses the method of login and exit the system. When the user logs in to the system, in order to enable the system to identify yourself, you must enter the username and password, and the system can enter the system after verification. Two accounts can be created during the system installation: 1) root - Super User account, use this account to do anything in the system. 2) Ordinary users - this account is used by the Push Tutong user, and a limited operation can be performed. All general Linux users are ordinary users, and the system administrator usually uses the super user account to complete some system management work. If you only need to complete some tasks that are capable of completing by ordinary accounts, it is recommended not to use a super user account to avoid unintentionally destroying the system. User login is divided into two steps: First step, enter the login name of the user, the system identifies the user according to the login name; second step, enter the user's password, the password is a string of the user's own own users, for other users Confidential, the system used to identify the keywords of true and false users when logging in. In the Linux system, the system administrator assigns a user name and an initial password when establishing a new account for the user. In addition, the Linux system gives a computer to a host name. The host name is used to identify independent computers on the network (even if the user's computer is not connected, there should be a host name). The default host name given by the TurboLinux system is: localhost. In the following example, we assume that the user name is "xxq", the host name is "localhost". Enter System (Login) Super User Log in to the user's username ROOT, the password is set when the system is installed. After the system starts successfully, the screen displays the following tips: localhost login: When you enter the super user name "root", then type the Enter key. At this point, the user will see the prompt of the input password on the screen: localhost login: root password: When you need to enter a password. When you enter a password, the password will not be displayed on the screen. If the user enters the wrong password, you will see the following information on the screen: login incorrtain. You need to re-enter. When the user correctly enters the username and password, it can legally enter the system. Screen display: [root @ loclhost / root] # This time indicated that the user has logged in to the system and can operate. Here "#" is a system prompt of a super user. After the ordinary user logs in to establish a normal user account, it can be logged in. When logging in, the user sees the following tips on the screen: localhost login: At this time, enter the username "XXQ" and type the Enter key. At this point, the user will see the prompt of the input password on the screen: localhost login: XXQ Password: When you need to enter a password. When you enter a password, the password will not be displayed on the screen. If the user enters the wrong password, you will see the following information on the screen: login incorrtain. You need to re-enter. When the user correctly enters the username and password, it can legally enter the system. Screen display: [xxq @ loclhost xxq] $ This time indicated that the user has logged in to the system and can be operated.
