Know-what
Trained, through certification, and proficient in the basic knowledge of a certain field, this kind of knowledge is called Know-what, also known as the cognitive knowledge (Cognitive Knowledge). Know-what is the foundation of all knowledge, but there is a Know-what does not mean that there is a capacity to use these knowledge.
Many software workers have begun to learn the Lions through professional certification. Know-how
Know-How phase is also called Advanced Skills, which refers to knowledge, theory, theory to work with books, to solve practical problems. Know-what knowledge may be bluntly swallowed through "filling", but the cultivation of Know-how must be accumulated and experienced through practical experience.
If there is a good teacher or Leader guidance, Know-what can quickly improve into Know-how, which is usually relatively hard to rely on self-cultivation. However, when I want to guide students, there will be many "do not know the goods" when they have known to Know-what to Know-HOW.
Know-why
The knowledge of the Know-why phase refers to the mastery of the entire system, which is to understand the causal relationship between complex interlaced behind a variety of knowledge. With Know-why knowledge, software personnel can further solve greater and more complex problems in addition to software programs smoothly, because all knowledge is organized. Software personnel with Know-why have strong "sixth sense" for the entire program, and can intuitively make correct judgments and pre-know the problems that may be encountered. The planned Leader must have Know-why to grasp the plan.
Care-why
Care-why refers to spontaneous creative creatiod. With the creativity of the source, it can maintain a high degree of competitiveness. Software products are quite the ability to creative and cave cone. Before you grab a software or a service, it has completed the depth cultivation. It is naturally stronger than others, and it can quickly meet market demand. Create the biggest benefit.
Time and effort to witness the knowledge economy
For the knowledge economy of the software industry, there is no special medicine, but it takes a lot of efforts to have results. Software companies should be committed to enhancing the knowledge level of employees, evolving from Know-what to Know-how, and then by Know- How evolution into Know-why, and even Care-why. Software person should not be satisfied with its own existing knowledge, after all, knowledge is endless.
