RSS is the first letters of English Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication, is an XML format for sharing news headers and other web content.
The RSS originated in the late 1990s, which was originally Netscape responsed by Microsoft Internet Explorer. IE 4 has a fun feature when I have just pushed, that is, "News Channel", define a set of languages describing news channels for this, this is RSS, but Netscape has worse, so there is no Publish a formal RSS specification (only a 0.9 version only).
How does RSS work?
Generally need to download and install an RSS news reader or collector, then subscribe to your content of your favorite website from the directory list of thousands of websites.
Once logged in, you will see the latest content of each channel subscribed - news headline, summary, and sometimes see a complete report and one or two photos. You can even click on the link to enter that site directly, find the original source of the news. Many RSS software runs inside the web browser, while others are independent programs. And most programs are free.
