Word can be said to be a very common text editing software, but it is such a frequently used software. Many features can't find it when you want to use. What is said here is a small trick in the process of Word.
Things are this, an article, including the introduction, Chapter 2, ..., conclusion. We don't want to set the header into the name of the book, but set the header into the title of each chapter. Even those familiar with Word may not know how to do this.
Click on the view above the above operation menu. You can start writing the header. Starting from the first page, fill in the "Ready" at the header, then close the header. It can be seen that the top of the document is displayed in "Introduction". Then browse to the first chapter, double-click the header, and modify the "first chapter" to close the header. In fact, after doing this, all the header text is changed to "Chapter 1". The correct practice is as follows. After browsing the second chapter, double-click on the header. At this time, the toolbar of the header and footer will pop up. On this toolbar, you will find a button "Link to the previous one" is gray, can't click . Click on "Page Settings" on the toolbar, pop up an action window, select "Document Grid" in it, and modify the "entire document" below to "After the Insert Point", then click the OK button. At this point, the button in the header and footer toolbar "Link to the previous one" is activated, first click on this button, then modify the header as "first chapter", close the header. At this point, the header of all the pages after the modification page is displayed as "first chapter", and the header of the front page does not change, still "Introduction." Modify the header of other chapters.
