OpenCV entry series (one) - Basic situation introduction
Regarding the introduction of the basic situation, I don't know how much you know more about everyone, just want to share some of the experiences in the last time, and of course you need some basic introduction. Detailed information has a more detailed introduction in OpenCV documentation, in the Hunnishopencv column, there is a Chinese translation in Chinese, which is simply referenced here.
First, introduce OpenCV is Intel® Open Source Computer Vision. It consists of a series of C functions and a small amount of C classes, and many general algorithms in image processing and computer visual.
OpenCV is a cross-platform, high-rise API, currently consisting of more than 300 C functions. It does not rely on other external libraries, although certain external libraries can also be used.
OpenCV is free for non-commercial uses and commercial purposes. Second, download OpenCV is a project for Open Source Plan Station SourceForge, you can access http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/opencvlibrary and download the latest version. The base includes Windows and Linux versions and related documents. Third, install me, I am installing under Windows, and the introduction is also some experience related to Windows, here only introduces the installation under Windows. Get the for Windows installation package from SourceForge, and of course the extension is EXE. I haven't described it later. The version I use is OpenCV_B4A.exe, and the subsequent introduction is based on this release.
