MapXtreme2004 is a product developed by MapInfo based Microsoft DOTNET architecture. MapXtreme2004 products enable developers to enjoy the benefits of Microsoft's .NET technology architecture, such as cross-language, create web services, deploy distributed applications such as advanced technologies. MapXtreme2004 focuses on the features and ease of use of Professional, Mapx, MapXtreme for Windows products in a unified object model, providing partners, customers, and MapInfo itself providing creation of a Windows-based application or product. Using similar code, developers can deploy applications in desktop application or web applications. For example, using MapXtreme 2004, a desktop application system is developed, and the program code can be deployed into the web environment as long as the program is slightly modified. MapXtreme2004 provides a number of tools that can be added to the user's application, and users can customize their own tools. MapXtreme2004 provides tools and map controls for desktop client development and web application development, respectively, and integrated directly into the Visual Studio.NET environment during installation. There will be many examples after the product installation, or it can be used directly in the application. MapXtreme2004 also provides other tools such as work space manager to save the initial state of multiple files in XML format; Table Registration Tool Geodictionary Manager is used for data binding.
