Download a fix package
DB2 does not require installation of different levels of fix packs, and high-level revisions contain all code in the low level revision, so you can select the current level of revision package download.

Ready to work
Before preparing to upgrade the revision package, you should complete your database. First check the current fix pack level to confirm if you need to upgrade $ DB2LEVEL comment out of the automatic start-up DB2 monitoring process, if this process automatically starts with the system # vi / etc / inittab Find the related line Note Relay system # reboot login To DAS management users, stop DAS service # su - DB2AS $ db2admin stop $ exit Log in to instance owner users, stop instance # su - db2 $ db2 forward Applications All $ db2 terminate $ db2stop $ exit Stop License Service $ db2licd end $ EXIT View Whether there is also a running DB2 related process, if there are other DB2 processes, it may result in failure of the upgrade. # ps -aux | grep db2 If there is, kill the Kill -s 9 process number ready to install the FixPack level 6, enter the download file unzipped directory # cd fp6_mi00080 /
