The transmission adaptation layer (TALI) is a signal gateway interface for providing interactions between circuit switched networks (SCN) and IP networks. The gateway is the center of signal information, which not only provides signal transmission between networks and networks, but also provides other functions such as protocol translation, security screening, information routing, and access to smart network servers in both parties.
The TALI protocol provides TCAP, ISUP, and MTP information transfer based on TCP / IP, and supports reliable communication between applications within the SS7 signal network and IP networks.
This version of Tali provides three SS7 signal transmission methods and provides the functionality of MTP, SCCP / TCAP, and ISUP based on TCP / IP.
