Simple File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) is a simple protocol for transferring files, running in the UDP (User Data News Agreement) port. The original intention of TFTP is small and easy to run, so it does not have some multi-feature of the ordinary FTP protocol. TFTP is only read from the remote server, write files (mail) or read, write files to the remote server. It cannot column directory and does not provide user authentication.

The current TFTP has three transmission modes: NetASC11 mode, 8-bit ASC11; OCTET mode (replacing the previous version of binary mode), such as an eight-bit group; mail mode, in this mode, transfer to the user is not a file but a character .
