Today, I saw a copy of the database design on Javaeye. I have a visibility of using the logical primary key on the database design on my own project experience. Although there is no conclusion, but harvest is still quite big. The person who advocates the main key of the business master key to make an example of the convenience of the associated query to explain the benefits of the business primary key; the person who advocates the logical primary key to upgrade and the segment data summary to the headquarters to explain that the main key is not available. Change, advocate that each table is best to build a logical primary key to solve the problem, although the efficiency may be reduced while associated queries, but the maintenanceability of the system is better. I personally spend the view of the logical primary key, and I use the logical primary key in my own project, but this discussion made me a further understanding of these two design programs.
