installation steps:
One. Backup server installation
1. Start HP SS DAT40X6E first, automatically load the tape drive, and then start the PC Server.
2. Start installing the CA BEB, the Windows main program is on the first disc. Select BrightStor Enterprise BackupàStandard Setup, install it according to the system default, you can set your password when BrightStoreb Domain Setting, if you are backup management from other management servers, you need to enter your account: caroot and password. The default password is empty. When installing to the end, a System Account dialog box is popped, requiring the password of the ADMINISTRATOR.
3. Installing Open File Option, Open File Option is also on the first disc, the files under IntelNTbaOf on the CD, and then extract the files under IntelNTBaof1033 to the previous level path. Then start installing.
4. Installing the Disaster Recovery Option, the Option of DR is also on the first disc, and the installation is installed in the system default manner.
Note: When starting the CA BrightStor Enterprise Backup master program, please remove the "Enable Library" option in the tape machine attribute in the control panel à admin range, avoid BEB to compete for resources when managing the device.
two. WINDOWS client installation
1. The Windows client's program should be installed on the fourth disc that should install the Client Agent before installing Domino and Oracle.
2. Install the Client Agent, install it by default.
3. Domino agent installation, Domino Agent On the first CD, when installing, when the system is Domino 5.0 or more, the first one is selected. Others choose the second. Finally, the customer will be required to enter the Server Name and password.
4. Oracle Agent installation, Oracle Agent On the first CD, when the installation process, a Choose Rman To Install will pop up, because BEB can use its own function to back up the Oracle database, there is no need to call RMAN, so you can not choose . The installation will finally pop up an Oracle Server Configuration window, add Enter Oracle SID and account: Internal, password: Oracle. Administrator and password of this system: ADM123.
Note: After the Oracle Agent is installed, you need to change Oracle to Archive Log mode. First put the init (SID). Old. Ota file content: # Log_archive_start = true

four. After the system is installed and after the upgrade of Patch, you can start running Beb Manager on the backup server.
