Why can't you copy files with remaining space?

If you find that you can't copy a large file over 2GB to a disk partition, check the partition format of the disk. In the FAT or FAT32 partition, the maximum size of a single file is 2GB, even if the remaining space is more, a file that is greater than 2GB cannot be saved.

Workaround: Use convert naming to convert partition formats into NTFS. Specific steps:

(1) C: /> chkdsk x: / f

This is a DIRTY DATA that can lead to failed partitioning in the partition format.

(2) C: /> Convert X: / fs: NTFS

This is the actual execution of the transition, sometimes you need to restart your computer to really complete the format conversion.
