Why do you want to install Win2003? It seems that there is no reason, maybe I am used to Win2000 desktop? Or don't like Win2000 to start slow memory management? Anyway, I don't have to use Win2000, I installed a Win2003 (Sigh ~ still thanks to those pirates).
Just installed, depressed. On 20 minutes, even the driver is not finished, "": RPC service is not available, close to the system is closed. Ft ~ I have to open the firewall first. It took N minutes to find a document online, and finally made Win2003 brought the firewall. I opened the following ports:
NetBIOS 139 TCP Windows file sharing 445 TCP, UDP Windows file sharing (communication) 137, 138 UDP game 4000 TCP World of Warcraft III 6112 (default) UDP QQ 4000 (older version) UDP
Although it is trouble, it can be worry-free after you have worry-free (emotion: looking for a Windows document or go to Microsoft). It feels compared to those commercial firewalls, Windows comes with "Those port open" (default is to close all ports, don't know what it means ~), and Tianwang is those who configure "those port open" . Safety should still be a better thing in Windows. But what ports do you want to open, how do you know? Microsoft's software has always been easy to use, but it seems to be a bit uncomfortable.
Then open the GRUB and found that Win2003 can't enter (Linux can also enter), prompts for the lack of auto **. BAT what file, is Win2003 guidance program written in other partitions? Revert to start WIN2003, check it online, found that Win2003 and Linux are incompatible are universal issues, saying to reload WIN either Linux. I ft ~. I have seen many documents, summarizing only: 1. Resemble GRUB 2. Fix two ways to install WIN, don't know if there is. I tried to reload GRUB, the result is good. As for why it is fine, I don't know now.
In the end, there is a small problem. It turns out that the partition where GRUB is located can be activated with GRUB. Now the NTFS partition that Win is now activated with GRUB. This may be very troublesome when you want to delete GRUB, because Grub doesn't know if it is also installed on the MBR of the NTFS partition. No matter what it is, I don't delete it.
Well ~ It's still a shock, and now Win2003 and Linux are useful. This will be safe for a while.
