Registration: A central server, which stores the various data required to work EBXML. In this information, "Registry" is displayed in XML as: "Business Process and Information Memory Model", "Core Library", "Collaboration Protocol Summary", and "Commercial Bank". Basically, when the merchant is to establish an EBXML relationship with another merchant, it issues a request to "Registry" to find the right partner and find information about the demand for the partner.

Business process: The activities that the merchants can participate (for business processes, merchants usually need one or more partners). "Business Process" is formally described by "Business Process Normative Mode" (a "W3C XML Mode" and a DTD), but can also be modeled in UML.

Summary of Collaboration Agreement (CPP): Summary of the "Registry" archive by the merchant who wants to participate in EBXML transactions. CPP will specify certain "business processes" of the merchant, and some "business service interface" it supports.

Business Services Interface: Merchants can perform the way they are necessary in their "business process". "Business Service Interface" also includes the "business message" species supported by the merchant and the protocol that may be adopted by these messages.

Business News: Actual information for communicating as part of a business transaction. A message will contain multiple layers. In the outer layer, a practical communication protocol (such as HTTP or SMTP) must be used. SOAP is a message "Remunered" envelope recommended by EBXML. Other layers can handle encryption or certification.

Core Library: Standard "Parts" sets you can use in larger EBXML elements. For example, the "business process" can reference the "core process". The "core library" is proposed by the EBXML initiator itself, while a larger element may be proposed by a particular manufacturer or merchant.

Collaborative Agreement Agreement (CPA): Essentially a contract between two or more businesses, which can be automatically obtained from the CPP of our respective companies. If a CPP says: "I can do X", the CPA will say "We will do X."

Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP): Switching the W3C protocol in a distributed environment approved by the EBXML initiator. It is important in EBXML to SOAP as the envelope function, which defines what is a message and how to process messages.
