DBMS_REPAIR Toolkit Usage
Although DBMS_REPAIR is a package, it is also a tool for DBA.
By running the DBMS_REPAIR package, Oracle gives details on damage to the block and tells the user how to fix them.
The DBMS_REPAIR package records all the details of the damage block and records the positioning instructions in a special table called Repair_Key.
Here, Key can be any name selected by the user, we use Repair_admin
Create a referring, you must first create a repair_admin table before running the DBMS_REPAIR package for any table or index.
In addition to checking data block damage, you can also use this tool to complete the following work.
1. For the block, soft damage tag, so that oracle knows that it is the block,
2. Skip when skipping when scanning and indexing scanning
3. Management Index Pointing the Orphans in Bad Data Blocks
4. Reconstruct the idle list for the specified table and index
