How to enhance fireworks photo effect

Fireworks photos generally look a bit weird without any modification. In this tutorial, you will learn how to enhance the contrast and saturation of fireworks without losing details, and create a better photo.

1. Open the picture to be edited. This tutorial has chosen a photo of fireworks. (Figure 01)

Figure 01

2. Copy the background layer twice, so there is now three layers. (Figure 02)

Figure 02

3. Apply "Gaussian Moxity" (Filter> Blur> Gaussian Moxia). Select a slight blur image without the radius of the fireworks. The radius value is different from the size of the fireworks density and the size of the image. Click the "Good" button. (Figure 03)

Figure 03

4. For the intermediate layer, the saturation is "-100" with a hous / saturation tool (shortcut Ctrl U). Click the "Good" button. (Figure 04)

Figure 04

5. Inverted intermediate layer (shortcut Ctrl i) and set the layer mixing mode of the above two layers to "superimpose". (Figure 05)

Figure 05

6. For the "Background" layer, the image is sharpened using a USM Sharping Tool (Filter> Sharing> USM Sharping). (Fig. 06). Depending on the size of the image size, you may need to increase or reduce (USM sharpening) quantity.

7. The color of the fireworks is richer. [Here are the comparison of photo effects before and after]

Apply the technology to fireworks photos, which can be made in color to get more contrast and more saturation (fireworks). The top layer of the Gaussian graphic is applied to produce a luminescent effect on the perimeter of the fireworks, while the intermediate layer is overprinting the exposed area and also enhances the underexposed area brightness.
