NOTE: The following text is for the old version of PowerDesigner before 2004, and the new version is tested.
The SQL statement of the reverse engineering must be ansi text, otherwise the PDM cannot be generated from the SQL statement. Several other formats are unable to generate, such as Unicode, Unicode Big Endian, UTF-8.
