PAUL Salazar, the sales supervisor of Red Hat Company, said that under the active promotion of the European government departments, Linux operating systems have expanded in the major market.
The company has grown from 31% of the total amount of financial year in the United States to 30% from the previous fiscal year.
"It is like a snowball, the more rolled," Salazar said in an interview at the Linux World Trade Show held here.
A supervisor in the Red Hat Asia last year said that the company's goal will increase its income from the United States to 50% in 3-5 years. Salazar's expectation has chosen the lower limit of this schedule.
"In 12 months, our income will account for 50% of the company's total revenue." Salazar said, and pointed out that the business outside the United States is quite equal to the European and Asia Pacific.
Red Hats sell Linux software to business customers and regularly upgraded, and provide support and service contracts to get profits.
